Idaho Snake River Chapter is located in Boise, Idaho at Gowen Field. An organization which supports Idaho soldiers and their families by participating in events that foster camaraderie and fellowship throughout the military community - both past & present, provide scholarship programs to aide youth in their education, and to participate in activities that strengthen family unity. Feeder units are 1-183 AHB, Det 2/168 GSAB (MEDEVAC), DET 1/CO D/ 1-112th AVN S&S BN (LUH), and DET 35 (C-12). The Idaho Aviation Group consists of approximately 400 Soldiers.

Mission: The Idaho Guard & Reserve Family Support Fund, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Fund is an independent organization closely affiliated with the Idaho Military Division of the Office of the Governor, a political subdivision of the State of Idaho and is recognized under Idaho State Code.
FAQ's: The Idaho Guard & Reserve Family Support Fund provides emergency financial support to Idaho Guard and Reservist Service Members in the form of grants and zero-interest loans. Since 2004 the Fund has distributed over $2,000,000 to more than 1,900 service members and their families.

Mission: To expose our nation’s youth to the technological environments and positive civilian and military role models found on Active, Guard, and Reserve military bases and
installations, nurture a winning network of collaborators, and build mutual loyalty within our communities, by providing 25 hours of exemplary hands-on instruction and activities that meet or exceed the National Standards.
Vision: To be the premier Department of Defense youth outreach program for raising the interest in learning and improving the knowledge and skills of our nation’s at risk youth so that we may develop a highly educated and skilled American workforce who can meet the advance technological requirements of the Department of Defense.

Idaho Youth ChalleNGe Academy

Mission: The mission of the Idaho Youth ChalleNGe Academy is to intervene in and reclaim the lives of 16-18 year old high school dropouts, producing program graduates with the values, life skills, education, and self-discipline necessary to succeed as responsible and productive citizens of Idaho.
Who We Are: IDYCA a holistic, quasi-military, fully-accredited residential high school academy (NOT a boot camp, detention or treatment facility), utilizing discipline and structure, to ensure a productive learning environment. Open to all 15-1/2 to 18 year-old Idaho residents. Participation is voluntary, and tuition-FREE.
